Microscopic organisms

After getting hooked on macro photography, I wanted to go up in magnification even more, and bought a second hand microscope. Below are some of the pictures I have taken with this set-up. I have done my best to assign the organisms to the right classification, but I am far from an expert and some of these life forms are far from easy to classify, so there will probably be mistakes. Of course, feel free to let me know if you see something wrong.

Small disclaimer: Although I am usually very much against altering/removing parts of photos in post-process (the infamous "photoshopping"), I did clean up the backgrounds in most of these photos since it would distract from the subject and many pictures would otherwise be quite messy. Many of them have also been cropped to varying extents, so the enlargements mentioned in the descriptions only refer to the used objectives.
